Society for Women Development & Empowerment of Nigeria (SWODEN) is a non-discriminatory and not-for-profit Non-governmental organization. The organization was established in 1995 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission to address current challenges faced by women and youth in accessing basic information and services at the community level that affects their development and also participation in policy development at both micro and macro level. Activities are drawn from their felt needs through grassroots participation and mobilization and use of community structures to ensure sustainability.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Katsina
Job type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor implementation of assigned project components.
• Lead team of staff and partners to achieve project objec ves.
• Develop and track project  melines, budgets, and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with M&E, finance, and grants departments to ensure compliance.
• Prepare regular reports and contribute to donor submissions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in development programs.
• Experience managing gender-focused or women’s empowerment ini a ves is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate complex ac vi es.
• Familiarity with results-based management (RBM) and logical frameworks.

Other Requirements:

• Nigerian citizenship or valid work permit.
• Strong commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confiden ality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Team player with excellent communication and management skills.
